CARINE ROITFELD FASHION BOOK

After a lot of rumors and a long waiting period, finally the CR Fashion Book magazine by Carine Roitfeld has been launched.
The Official presentation has been during a huge party in NY some days ago.
The magazine - by Fashion Media Group -  available starting from this Thursday will be a semestral editorial and it will cost 30 USD in the US and 60 € in Europe. (you can buy it online at www.crfashionbook.com).
In the first issue - 340 pages of not only fashion - you will find a Tom Ford tale called "Lucho and Juliet", another by Anne Hathaway regarding fertility - the main topic of this issue - and some pics of Carine's daughter, Julia, neo-mummy.
During the Party launch, at Manhattan Frick Collection Musuem in NY , there were a lot of celebrities Bruce Weber, Bar Refaeli, Waris Ahluwalia, Angela Lindvall, Kate Upton.
And so for all the fashion&book addicted like me - it is time to buy it!!!

E ora non resta ache metterci in coda all'edicola o prenotarlo direttamente via online!!!

FASHION ADV FLASHBACK: BURBERRY & STELLA TENNANT

Stella Tennant was studying sculpture at the Winchester School of Art when she was discovered by noted photographer Steven Meisel. It wasn't long before she was walking the runway and appearing in numerous ad campaigns, including this 1998 adv for Burberry Prorsum that was lensed by Mario Testino.
Now she has limited her recent ans public appearances to live as a "beautiful" normal person with her four children and husband in Scotland.
For me she remains One of the top among the fashion models!

FASHION COLLABORATION: ROBBIE WILLIAMS

Another celebrity that has decide to launch a own clothing line: the British singer Robbie Williams was in Dublin last week to launch his new menswear range, Farrell.
"It's the working-class peacock," Williams said, describing the brand. The clothing line is inspired by the style of his Irish grandfather Jack Farrell, a former miner who became a father figure in young life when his father left.
When describing the menswear range, Williams was frank about his involvement. He admitted that he poached Burberry's former design director, Ben Dickens, to be his head of design and told reporters: "I'm not a designer. I'm not going to lie to you and say that I am. The thing I do for Farrell is DJ clothes. If a DJ goes 'I like this record' and he puts it on, people go 'yes I like that record too'.
Ah well, finally someone who is really honest regarding his fashion-involvement!!!
The Farrell menswear range includes shirts, sweaters, cardigans, blazers, trousers and coats and is available at Selfridges and Brown Thomas in the UK.

Do you like it???

FRIDAY FASHION WEEK NIGHT

Working in fashion "behind the scenes" makes the Fashion Week very stressful for me and before the runway I only want good diner and relaxing time.

PLURALIA: MFW WEEK END

My Fashion week end has been very very full of things to do: hard work on Saturday because of the fashion show, visiting my BFF friends of Co-te, AMAZING wedding, Pablo Picasso exhibition at Palazzo Reale - you have to visit it! and finally a lot of shopping at Excelsior!

MY OBSESSION: JEWELRY

Another obsession of mine is jewelry, but I am not talking about “usual or classic” jewelry.
I love everything is huge, evident, cool and sparkling.
I am ring-obsessed – you will never see my fingers “naked”- I love crosses, bangles and necklace and any vintage jewels.
Of course my favourite jewelry designers are Ugo Cacciatori and Emanuele Bicocchi.
Do u like them too?

SUNSET ON THE HILLS

Going on the hills near Modena to eat borlenghi and tigelle - typical food of Emilia region -    it 's one of the best way to spend the evening (especially before the stressful - hardworking Fashion week that is coming!)
Enjoy the beautiful sunset and the view!
