PLV MILANO: GET A FASHION STYLE TO YOUR ARM!

Another "little secret" that I wanna sharing with you. A brand accidentally discovered through the magic Instagram world, a couple of cousins from Milan who are slowly becoming present and present with their creations!
Laura and Veronica, 27 and 35 years-old, one year ago started this new and wonderful adventure. Their passion for fashion and above all for accessories started since they were very young, thanks to their grandmother who was the owner of a well-known fashion tailoring in the center of Milan and also thanks to their mothers both involved in the creativity field.
The idea of the bracelets was born totally by chance (and by the desire to do something together): after a course in Fashion Design at the New Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, going to buy the components to decorate a skirt, one of the two cousins remained very impressed by the crystals and the viscose in fluo colors and she "literally" built two bracelets for herself.
Just thanks to these two bracelets the magical project has started: friends, then friends of friends began to ask them, and in less than a month LV bracelets appear in some stores in three different cities: Milan, Forte dei Marmi and Santa Margherita Ligure.
The World of Fashion Blog has been the springboard (the first to wear a LV bracelet has been Chiara Ferragni) and in one year they are "grown" so ans so much: now LV is present in 50 stores across Italy , and also in the ecommerce site (www.francescaerre.it) where each of us will have the opportunity to create our own personalized bracelet.
They have recently also launched an exclusive line embellished with the silver iconic bolt for Cloister, a wonderful shop in the heart of Milan.
The new bolt in silver, made entirely by hand by the two creators, was another incentive to enlarge the collection with new materials - even precious!
The inspiration for each new model comes from the "desire for color", even and especially during the winter, when the best way to give "light" is using crystal bracelets and fill our wrists!
The most important factor is definitely the quality in terms of materials used, in terms of making and of finishing (this helps to guarantee the durability). The products are entirely handmade and 100% Made in Italy.
Obviously, there are a lot of new projects  to discover! I'm sure that if you have a look at LV website you will totally fall in love with the entire collection.
Trust me!!!

I prodotti sono interamente realizzati a mano e 100% Made in Italy.

On the heels of Isabel Marant for H&M, comes news of another exciting high-low designer collaboration: Rick Owens is designing a line of running shoes for Adidas, WWD is reporting.
The line will include six styles for men and four for women. The shoes will stick to one silhouette, but be available in a range of fabrics and colors–and by colors, of course, we mean mostly black, grey, white; materials will be a combo of leather, suede, nylon, and canvas
Prices will be solidly between the two retailers’ markets, at $400 to $500 a pop–a bargain, considering Owens’ basketball shoes sell for around $1,200 to $1,600. The collaboration will debut June 27 during Owens’s menswear show.
The reason behind this collaboration? For sure introducing Owens’s designs to a whole new audience but also for a more personal:
“I work out like a fiend but I hate, hate, hate cardio. I realized I’m in my fifties now and I need to do something for my heart and lungs. So, I’ve got to start running,” Owens explained to WWD. “I thought to myself, ‘What shoes am I going to wear running?’ I can’t wear my big chunky basketball shoes–I’d look like a dinosaur running through the Tuileries.”
Owens decided he needed a cool-looking running shoe he could actually, well, run in, and called up Adidas. A collaboration was born.
“I’m not great at collaboration–I get too anal, too detail-oriented and impatient. It’s very innocent on my part–I’m not trying to provoke anyone but it ends up being a mess,” he told the trade. “But Adidas is a classic brand and it reminds me of Eighties hip-hop. They just have an authentic, old-school realness that appeals to me.”

NEW FASHION COLLABORATION: ISABEL MARANT X H&M

I really don’t believe it but it so trueeeeeeeeeeee: H&M is proud to announce its autumn collaboration with Parisian designer Isabel Marant. With her effortless style, Isabel Marant has created a widely influential and successful take on Paris chic. Mixing urban attitude, boho elegance and rock ‘n’ roll spirit, she delivers a genuine French allure. For H&M, Isabel Marant will create a wardrobe of must-have pieces inspired by her signature style.
Available from November 14, 2013, in around 250 stores worldwide and online, the collection features clothing and accessories for women and teenagers. Isabel Marant will also, for the first time, create a collection for men.
“I am flattered by this collaboration. H&M works with the best designers and this invitation is an exciting honour. I aim at creating something real, that women want to wear in their everyday lives, with a certain carelessness, which I think is very Parisian: you dress up, but do not pay too much attention and still look attractive. The collection is infused with this kind of easiness and attitude. Everything can be mixed following one’s own instincts. My take on fashion is all about personality,” says Isabel Marant.
I can’t wait!!!

BREAKING NEWS

The designer Azzedine Alaia, part of the Richemont group since 2007, is preparing his comeback. In Paris, in September, there will be the opening of the new and first (after the closure of the store in NY in 1992) Alaia flagship store in rue Marignan - behind avenue Montaigne - and an exhibition at the Musée Galliera; now in Los Angeles he has just designed the costumes for The Marriage of Figaro and there is his own exhibition in Düsseldorf. He is also defining the launch of the first Alaia fragrance with BPI.

Emma Hill, creative director of Mulberry, is leaving the house. The designers of the British brand since September of 2008, has just decided to leave and rumors talked about her possible “affinity” to Coach, instead of the former creative director Reed Krakoff, who left the company in late April.
Givenchy jump for the second season the presentation of the Haute couture collection in Paris. The reason is the super-busy schedule that the creative heart of the brand, Riccardo Tisci, faced last year. However this does not mean a definitive interruption of the Haute-couture Collection, but it is just temporary. The fashion house is also launching a new series of watches for men and women, after the interruption of the watch collection in 2009 (sold exclusively at Colette in Paris, Barneys in New York and Beverly Hills, 10 Corso Como in Milan, Boon the Shop in Seoul and Selfridges in London, as well as in some Givenchy selected boutiques before landing on a larger scale this September).

Comme des Garçons in collaboration with the Andy Warhol Foundation has just launched a capsule collection of clothing and accessories in tribute to pop. The line, created for Japan's Golden Week, is made of T-shirts, bags and shoes characterized by the typical pop prints and it will be on sale from June 27 in Comme des Garçons Stores and at the Dover Street Market in Ginza.

NEW OPENING: Pierre Balmain arrives in Milan with his first boutique. The store will open in via Borgospesso, 5 on Saturday, June 22.
Mugler opens its first boutique in Milan under the sign of ITTIERRE. The opening is scheduled for June, 25 - at the end of the  fashion week- in Via Manzoni 30

NETALI NISSIM

Today, I wanna talking again about the brand that I have discovered in the last period – thanks to the web.
Accessories are in fashion this year: arms full of bracelets, finger full of rings and neck full of necklaces, chains and pendants!
The market offers a great variety of products  of different price range and today I wanna tell you about a product really high level, which I discovered by accident and I completely fall in love with (I think even you). Talking with the designer, I fall in love even more because the story, the inspiration and the meaning behind every products, increase their magic.I'm talking about Netali Nissim, born and raised in the jewelry world, family and friends work with diamonds, pearls and precious stones and have offices around the world. The father, who is in the field for 45 years, has  always carried her on his trips to India and the Far East in search of beautiful gems that could enhance the Italian craftsmanship. Visiting trade fairs in Hong Kong, Las Vegas, Basel and Vicenza, Netali has often noted that in an “industry whose final consumer is woman”, the majority of agents are men.
Her dream was to create a line of fine jewelry wearable, comfortable and stylish, all made in Italy (not China or Thailand as many do) designed by a woman who loves jewelry for women who love the accessories! Netali Nissim was born by chance: in 2002 her friends have started asking to create some jewelery, considering she is in the industry and she has
good taste. Slowly more and more orders came and in 2003 with her sister Ilanit, she decided to create a line of luxury and quality  jewels to propose to her friends
Finally in 2009 the brand Netali Nissim was founded, with the first showroom in New York, in the heart of the Upper East Side (on 62 and Madison), a sort of  lounge for Italian and American customers.
The materials used are only 18 kt gold and diamonds of the best quality.
The main line of the brand NN is called "Protect Me" and represents a series of bracelets with the shape of eyes in different sizes and colors.
The fish eye in Middle Eastern culture, serves
to protect against the evil eye ... like our good luck amulet. The myth says that as the fish are hidden in the sea, they are the only living beings who are able to procreate in thousands at a time.Historically offspring is synonymous with wealth, and it explains the use of the eye to protect us from the eyes of others!
Combining the symbol of the eye that typically found in Greece and Turkey, with  the quality and design made in Italy , the' Protect Me” collection was born."My greatest success is seeing people wearing my design pieces anytime, anywhere. You have created an elite group of globe trotter people that are able to recognize my bracelets, unow status symbol of luxury and timeless fashion. My daughter wears a pair of bracelets since she was 6 months, and she never take them off.

For now we are concentrating on the distribution and e-commerce, which now is developing also here in Italy! Our products are sold in the United States, Europe and the Middle East, and hopefully soon also in the East." said Netali.
Well I think you will not need any further comment to explain this AMAZING product.

Social networks often help creating connection or discovering people or brands that you would have never known.
Thanks to Instagram  I have met Sarah Barca, 23 years-old, an artisan who has recently launched Essebi Bijoux - her first collection of bracelets.
The aesthetics? Eccentricity, first of all. Discovering the pleasure of having at wrist the latest fashionable news and change it according to your taste.
Sarah has started this activity in a fully autonomous and independent way. Creativity,'' enthusiasm and tenacity are her strengths that help to follow her dream!

How was your passion for creating jewelry born?

I've always been fascinated by jewelry in general, as I consider them essential accessories to give your "final touch". It 'started for fun, I decided some years ago to create jewelry for myself and wearing them I realized that they were very successful among people. So this hobby started becoming a real job!

What does inspire you to compose your own creations?

For me, inspiration is something that comes from my inner side and it is totally unexpected ... I see a material, a color, an object, and I can imagine reworked, transformed, “myself”! Sometimes it starts with an idea, a trend, other times everything is created by something that’s inspired me. Many ideas were born during my travels in Italy and in Europe having a look at the beautiful and charming shops of high handmade jewelry.

Why have you decided to create the jewelry line SB?

During my working career, I felt the need to create a logo to represent my jewelry that could turn my passion into a real brand. So Essebi Bijoux was born - a collection of exclusive bracelets dedicated to women.

What materials do you use?

In the realization are involved various techniques and materials of high quality, such as semi-precious stones, precious stones, wood, glass, crystal, swarovski, resin and plexiglass.

What are the strengths of your jewelry?

Charms are the main characters of my creations: there are various shapes, materials and colors. I create highly customized models, with huge attention to details and entirely handmade. My aim is to realize unique bracelets at affordable cost. The only common thing is an heart-shape medal in which is engraved my logo. The medals are plated in 24 KT, the stones maintain their brightness over time.

What does this activities mean to you?

I have decided to start this experience to consolidate my biggest passion for fashion, especially in the field of jewelry. It is my language, my way  to express myself, the realization of my creativity

Dov’è possibile vedere i tuoi bijoux?

Where can I see your jewelry?

You can find them on my Facebook page Essebi Bijoux: https://www.facebook.com/pages/EsseBì-Bijoux/526209787409216
Or on Instragam and on Twitter.
So what do you think about SB? I think it's really positive to think that more and more girls decide to pursue their passions by "jumping" himself into the fashion world.
