I social network spesso aiutano a creare connection o a scoprire persone o brand che non avresti mai conosciuto.

Tramite Instagram ho conosciuto Sarah Barca, 23 anni, artigiana che ha da poco lanciato Essebì Bijoux – la sua prima collezione di bracciali.

L’estetica? Eccentricità, innanzitutto. Scoprire il piacere di avere al polso l’ultima novità alla moda, cambiandola in base ai propri gusti.

Sarah ha intrapreso quest’attività in maniera del tutto autonoma ed indipendente. La creatività, l'entusiasmo e la tenacia sono i punti di forza che l’hanno spinta a credere in quello che fa!

Thanks to Instagram  I have met Sarah Barca, 23 years-old, an artisan who has recently launched Essebi Bijoux - her first collection of bracelets.

The aesthetics? Eccentricity, first of all. Discovering the pleasure of having at wrist the latest fashionable news and change it according to your taste.

Sarah has started this activity in a fully autonomous and independent way. Creativity,'' enthusiasm and tenacity are her strengths that help to follow her dream!

 

 

Come nasce la tua passione per la creazione di bijoux?

Sono sempre stata affascinata dai monili in generale, in quanto li considero accessori fondamentali per dare “il tocco finale”. E’ iniziato tutto per gioco, decisi qualche anno fa di creare gioielli per me stessa ed indossando i miei bijoux mi resi conto che riscuotevano sempre molto successo. Sono state le persone che mi hanno aiutata a riconoscere le mie qualità più autentiche attraverso il loro apprezzamento. Così questo hobby è diventato un vero e proprio lavoro!

How was your passion for creating jewelry born?

I've always been fascinated by jewelry in general, as I consider them essential accessories to give your "final touch". It 'started for fun, I decided some years ago to create jewelry for myself and wearing them I realized that they were very successful among people. So this hobby started becoming a real job!

 

Cosa ti ispira, o da cosa prendi ispirazione per comporre le tue creazioni?

Per me l’ispirazione è qualcosa che nasce da dentro ed è totalmente inaspettata… Vedo un materiale, un colore, un oggetto e me lo immagino rielaborato, trasformato, mio! A volte si parte da un’idea, una tendenza, altre volte tutto si genera da qualcosa che istintivamente mi cattura. Molte idee sono nate anche durante i miei viaggi in Italia ed in Europa ammirando le belle, caratteristiche e suggestive botteghe di alta bigiotteria artigianale.

What does inspire you to compose your own creations?

For me, inspiration is something that comes from my inner side and it is totally unexpected ... I see a material, a color, an object, and I can imagine reworked, transformed, “myself”! Sometimes it starts with an idea, a trend, other times everything is created by something that’s inspired me. Many ideas were born during my travels in Italy and in Europe having a look at the beautiful and charming shops of high handmade jewelry.

 

Cosa ti ha spinto a creare la linea di bijoux SB?

Durante il mio percorso lavorativo, è arrivato un momento in cui ho sentito l’esigenza di creare un logo che identificasse i miei gioielli e che potesse trasformare la mia passione in un vero e proprio brand. Nasce così EsseBì Bijoux, una collezione di bracciali esclusivi dedicati alla donna.

Why have you decided to create the jewelry line SB?

During my working career, I felt the need to create a logo to represent my jewelry that could turn my passion into a real brand. So Essebi Bijoux was born - a collection of exclusive bracelets dedicated to women.

Quali sono i materiali che usi?

Nella realizzazione sono impiegate varie tecniche e materiali diversi di alta qualità, come pietre semipreziose, pietre dure, legno, vetro, cristalli, swarovski, resina e plexiglass. Il ventaglio di proposte è sempre ampio e variegato nel look.

What materials do you use?

In the realization are involved various techniques and materials of high quality, such as semi-precious stones, precious stones, wood, glass, crystal, swarovski, resin and plexiglass.

Quali sono i punti di forza dei tuoi bijoux?

A dominare il trend sono gli charms di varie forme, materiali e colori. Creo modelli fortemente personalizzati, curati nei minimi dettagli e realizzati interamente a mano con grande cura artigianale. Il mio scopo è fornire alle amanti del settore bracciali unici e inimitabili a costi contenuti. L’unico elemento che li accumuna è una medaglia a forma di cuore in cui è inciso il logo. Le medaglie vengono placcate in oro 24 KT e, successivamente, vengono effettuati dei bagli galvanici che proteggono la placcatura più a lungo, allo stesso modo anche la maggior parte degli charms in metallo. Le pietre, inoltre,  non si opacizzano e mantengono la loro brillantezza nel tempo.

What are the strengths of your jewelry?

Charms are the main characters of my creations: there are various shapes, materials and colors. I create highly customized models, with huge attention to details and entirely handmade. My aim is to realize unique bracelets at affordable cost. The only common thing is an heart-shape medal in which is engraved my logo. The medals are plated in 24 KT, the stones maintain their brightness over time.

Che cosa rappresenta per te quest’ attività?

Ho intrapreso quest’esperienza lavorativa volta a consolidare la mia più grande passione nell’ambito della moda, in particolare nel settore della bigiotteria che mi ha sempre affascinato molto. Essa rappresenta il linguaggio tramite la quale mi riesce facile esprimermi  e in cui trova realizzazione la mia creatività, dando forma a tutta la verve giocosa ed innovativa di un’autentica autodidatta.

What does this activities mean to you?

I have decided to start this experience to consolidate my biggest passion for fashion, especially in the field of jewelry. It is my language, my way  to express myself, the realization of my creativity
