SANTA CLARA MILANO: QUALITY & LOVE

I was wondering if slippers can be considered as one of this Spring Summer trend or they are just a carryover, a must-have able to complete different kind of looks.
That said, the slippers are slowly becoming very popular and it becomes increasingly difficult to find a quality and comfortable product. I do love slippers and I want to tell you about a brand that combines craftsmanship, Made in Italy, passion, attention to details and Charity.
The project started almost by chance, during a road trip to Cuba: there Andrea understood that it was the time “to do something”, to start a business, to produce footwear. He decided to found Santa Clara. (The name is not accidental ... Santa Clara is in fact the town where there was the "moment of the truth", where he decided that produce footwear was the right way to follow.)
Cuba and in particular the famous cigar manufacturing were a source of 'inspiration especially for the values behind the brand: "craftsmanship", the "handmade", "love for the product and details“.The passion for shoes and for the Italian excellence, in which the company strongly believes, are the basis of this brand.
Whereas today a lot of companies decide to escape from Italy by outsourcing production - especially footwear - Santa Clara has decided to go against the current investing in the "Made in Italy".
"We preferred to focus on a single item, declined in five variants in different colors. You'll see that for the next season the color cards will explode. "- explains to me Andrea -" and certainly in the future we will expand the collection introducing new models and new product categories (in particular, we are focused on handbags and small leather goods). The brand lends itself to category extensions.  However, the focus for 2014 will remain on the slipper ".
Thanks to the support of the digital world - in which the company believes - in a very short time, Santa Clara have been spotted at the feet of a lot of fashionistas -"we believe that the digital and social world are the channel that offers the best value for money."
At the beginning of the post I have also talked about Charity, in fact Santa Clara is linked with the NGO AMREF in order to improve health in Africa through the active involvement of local communities. Specifically Santa Clara supports the project "Stand Up for African Mothers"  (http://www.santaclaramilano.com/ita/charity/) combining the funding of specific activities with the sale of each moccasin.
So we can truly say that this is a shopping that will combine quality and love.
