FASHION AD FLASHBACK: DOLCE&GABBANA AND TONY WARD

By 1990, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana were developing a brand which challenged the concepts of the feminine and the masculine forever in the history of fashion.
The “Little Italy” advertising campaign which was shot to promote the FW1990/1991 collection - more than 20 years ago but so modern and actual - was the brand first major ADV campaign and is still one of their most visually striking.
Tony Ward, at the really beginning of his career, dating with Madonna and starring in her "Justify My Love" video, was the protagonist of this black and white ad campaign, shot by photographer Steven Meisel.

And now you can start buying the FW 12-13 Collection also in Italy!
Enjoy the red-sole!
